Social Groups

Whether you are new to Wrington Chapel or have been here longer than the buildings, we have got something just right for you.

Groups For Adults

Men's Group

Meetings take place at 7.30pm at The Plough Inn, Wrington on the second Thursday of every month. Our men's group has a wide range of ages and have a schedule which includes a diverse range of activities. Sometimes the group will arrange a relaxing BBQ, other meetings it might be a game of skittles or a meal out at a chosen restaurant.

As with all our groups, the men's group is very welcoming and are always keen to welcome new members and try new activities. If you would like to join in or just find out what is coming up soon, simply check the event's page or contact us for details of the next meeting.

Women's Fellowship

The women's fellowship of ladies from the Chapel, All Saints' and further afield, meets mainly on the third Wednesday of the month from 10am - 12am at Wrington Chapel. The meeting starts with Tea and Biscuits in a freindly atmosphere and regularly enjoys a visit from Christian guest speaker, ending with sandwiches for those who can stay.

Women's fellowship is always growing and there is no obligation to attend every meeting. If you would like to join us simply drop-into Wrington Chapel for our next meeting or contact us for a bit more information.

Groups For The Young (and Sunday Schools)

We realise that it is easier to learn, grow and most importantly enjoy yourself when socialising with your own age group. So, for this reason we have been fortunate enough to have support for all the following age groups. All groups take place during our Sunday morning service, with the exception of Pathfinders, which happens every Sunday night during term time at Wrington Chapel from 7pm - 8.30pm.

Créche Facilities

Enjoy our Sunday morning service whilst your child/children enjoy themselves playing games under the supervision of our care team.

Sparks (Pre-school to year 2)

Whilst you're learning from our sermon, your child/children will also be learning about Christianity through games, painting, toys, and stories.

Flames (year 3 - 5)

We have a range of activities and games for our 3-5 year olds, keeping them engaged, on their toes and learning.

Fusion (year 6-7)

We provide a range of slighty more mature learning exercise and activities to support our older children.

Y.T.G
Y.T.G is a group aimed at teenagers, who discover the Bible in new and innovative ways. From time to time, Y.T.G will plan and lead a Sunday service, which has proved to be very benefical to both adults and children in the past.

Pathfinders (11 - 18 years old)

Our ever-growing Sunday evening youth group has proved to be a real success and really good fun. It's a great chance for teenagers to grow and learn spiritually through a short talk and then social time where the opportunity to take part in outings, activities, watch DVDs or socialise.  Pathfinders leaders also enjoy the opportunity to talk with children and teenagers alike, teaching Christianity in a non-formal church environment.

Most Sundays, Pathfinders meet at 7pm at the Chapel and stay until 8.30pm. Path Finders is supported by Wrington Chapel and All Saints Church and everyone is welcome.

Bible Study Groups

Our Bible Study Groups (aka House Groups) take place on varying weekdays, depending on which groups you join. All our our Bible study groups are kindly run by volunteers and usually take place one evening each week, in someones home. Most commonly the person arranging the house group will plan a terms worth of topics, which may require a little pre-reading before the discussion group is held each week.

Discussion's usually last around an hour with 30 minutes coffee and chat time before and a further time to socialise afterwards for those who want to hang around. Bible Study groups are always informal and a great opportunity to meet new people and gain support whilst growing your spiritual relationship with God.

There's also regular social events with the opportunity to bring along family and friends.

If you would like information on which bible study groups are currently running and how to get involved, please contact us.
